The Second High School Attached to Beijing Normal University (SHSBNU) was founded in 1953. It is a key high school of Beijing municipality and one of the first model schools of Beijing Education Commission.
The school has outstanding performance in teaching, in subject competitions and in the national university entrance examinations. All previous graduates have been admitted by high learning institutions, and over 95% of the graduates have entered national key universities. The school has also cultivated a number of champions in the national college entrance examination, and winners of national and international Olympics in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
The school is the first one opening to the world in Beijing. Since 1968, more than 30,000 foreign students, teachers and researchers came to the school for visiting, studying, communicating, cooperation etc. The school has built good relationship with those sister schools that are from the United States, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Russia, England, and South Africa.
The school is the first one to recruit international students. These recent years, more than 70 oversea students graduated from the school, and most of them are studying in the key universities of China such as Peking University, Qinghua University, Renmin University and Beijing normal university.
On the other hand, with the several years endeavoring and accumulating, the international department of school has experienced international communication and exchange, international cooperation, educational administration, and teaching strategies. The specific characteristics of the school have been shaped. We have a strong confidence that the students can receive first-class education at our school. We also kindly and warmly welcome foreign students studying at our school.

The recruitment focuses on foreign students who have well-completed junior courses in their countries and are able to join Chinese class and study with Chinese students and the students who want to train their Chinese.
Quota of students: Junior 1(year 7)6-8; Grade 1(year 10) 15-20; Grade 2(year 11) 5-6;Grade 3(year 12)10.

The students eligible for Enrolment conditions can either come to school for or down load the “application form” from our website. Application should be done in the following process:
1. Fill out the Application Form in either Chinese or English and attach a recent photo of the applicant;
2. Fill out and Guardian’s letter of Guarantee in either Chinese or English, which must be signed by the guardian;
3. Letter of Recommendation from previous school (in either Chinese or English). (Photocopy with Chinese or English translation);
4. For students who are already studying in China，should also provide:
Letter of Transfer from the current school
School report card
Passport, valid visa and certificate of residence in China (photocopy).
5. Students who study in abroad should provide Diploma of highest academic degree, previous school report, study records of the past year, as well as any certificate of rewarding and HSK (if any).
6. The program is offered high school levels (year 10-12). A student who has been trained in Chinese, passed HSK level 3 (Grade 1) and HSK level 5 (Grade 2) and relevant academic course can enter into this program. He/she also has to join the Chinese students’ class subject.
7. Applications must fill in the application and send it, along with the diploma and school report to SHSBNU.
8. Applications must attend an interview before enrolment.

International students will take official academic courses with Chinese students.
Courses offered in this program are Chinese, Chinese culture, English, math, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, P.E., computer, etc.

Additional curriculums:
1. According to the needs and characteristics of international students, During the Grade 1, there is an additional lesson offering to the students that will focuses on Chinese, Chinese culture, and HSK, and basic knowledge of each subject;
2. Grade 2: the additional lesson will focus on the studying of basic academic knowledge;
3. Grade 3: the additional lesson will focus on model test about college entrance examination;
4. Activities: the school will organize students to travel around China and also to know real China. Sports meeting, academic competitions and festival celebrations will also be an integral part of the programs.

1. Those students who are accepted by the school should afford 10000RMB for deposit, if one of them cannot be registries on time, 80% deposit will be kept;
2. Timely arrival is required of all students.
3. With all the required documents offered to school, the school will help students with their residents’ permits.
4. All tuition and fees must be paid after 2 weeks of school starts. No money shall be refunded if the student leaves or transfers to another school one month after the school begins.
5. The school can help students apply for visas and take out insurance.

　　北京师大二附中，是我国教育部直属学校、北京市的市级重点中学，北京市教委首批认定的普通高中示范校之一。始建于1953年，由于校风好、教学质量 高，在社会上享有很高声誉，在国际上也有一定影响。学校拥有先进的教育理念，雄厚的师资力量、精良的教学设施，可为学生提供优质的服务。
学校的教学和学科竞赛成果显著，高考成绩极为突出，历届毕业生高考上线率100%，文理科重点大学上线率95%以上，培养出五位北京市的高考状元。在国际及全国的奥林匹克数学、物理、化学、生物学科竞赛决赛中，多次获得金银铜奖牌。
　　二附中是北京市开展对外交流最早的中学之一。自1969年以来，有80多个国家和地区的近3万名国外学者和友人来校学习、参观和访问，先后与美国、日本、澳大利亚、新加坡、俄罗斯、英国和南非等国家的学校建立友好关系。
　　二附中是北京首批获准招收外籍学生的学校，上个世纪70年代就接纳外籍学生。近年来，已相继毕业数十名外籍学生。他们有的升入北京大学、清华大学、中国人民大学、北京师范大学、对外经济贸易大学等著名高等学府就学，有的就读于本国的著名大学。经过多年的努力和积累，二附中国际部在国际交流、合作、教 育、教学、管理等方面积累了丰富的经验，并逐步形成了自己的特色。热忱欢迎来自世界各国的适龄中学生到我校学习。

二、 国际部招生范围和条件：
　　北京师大二附中国际部只招收插入中国学历班的外籍学生：
1、招收名额分配：
　　初一年级：6-8名、高一年级：15-20名、高二年级：5-6名、部分优秀的高三年级学生。
2、报名条件及录取：
(1) 初一、高一新生：申请报考的外国学生，应为应届毕业生，并具有汉语水平考试（HSK）达到3级或相当于3级以上的汉语水平。学习成绩良好，品行端正。在北京须有法定监护人（父母）或委托监护人，并通过我校的面试及考试，择优录取。境外学生可免除面试。
(2) 高二年级插班生：申请插班的外籍学生，需提供转学证明和成绩单。HSK成绩要求达到5级，学习成绩良好，品行端正。在北京须有法定监护人（父母）或委托监护人，并通过我校的面试及考试，择优录取。境外学生可免除面试。

三、国际部教学计划：
课程设置：外籍学生参加我校为中国学生设置的全部课程；
特色课程与教学目标：针对外籍学生的特点与需求，高一阶段为外籍学生特设汉语强化班及学科基础知识强化班。高二阶段，将特设学科知识强化班。高三阶段，特设外籍学生高考模考班。
活动安排：除同中国学生一起参加有关活动外，还有针对外籍学生特点组织的社会实践、公益活动、文化旅游、文体活动、节日联欢等活动。以促进学生身心健康和全面提升综合素质能力。

四、报名办法及要求：
凡符合我校招生范围和条件的外籍学生，均可在师大二附中国际部领取《外国学生入学申请表》（可在校园网下载），并请按以下要求办理报名手续：
1、报名时请携带本人护照、家长或监护人护照、“临时住宿登记表”、三张两寸正面免冠照片（白色或淡蓝色背景）。
2、中文（英语系国家可用英文）如实填写《外国学生入学申请表》。
3、未满18岁的学生在京学习期间必须由父母或其聘请的监护人陪护。有关监护人事宜可在报名时向校方咨询。
4、境外学生需提供本人的经过公证的学历证书、在校学习证明、成绩单以及获奖证书和汉语等级证书等；
5、已在中国境内学习的学生应提供以下证明：
（1）、在华学校的毕业证书或转学证明（须加盖公章）；
（2）、成绩单；
6、境外的学生可将上述材料邮寄我校参加报名；
7、被录取的学生将会收到学校的正式通知，按要求办理相关手续。

五、咨询与报名时间：
每年3月15日开始咨询，电话：62048847 或82020401，3月15日至6月30日为报名时间，额满为止。

六、收费标准（每学期）：
1. 学费：中国班20000元人民币（含保险费）
2. 报名费：400元。

七、入学须知：
1. 已获准入学的外籍学生，需由监护人预交入学押金10000元人民币。学生入境后，逾期未报到者，扣留入学押金80%；
2. 学生入校后按照学校要求提交各种材料，学校负责统一办理居留许可证；
3. 开学后两周不交费者，取消其入学资格，并扣留全部入学押金。开学1个月以后，转学或因违反校规校纪被学校开除者一律不退费；

八、奖学金：
表现突出或品学兼优的学生可获得奖学金。
